Hello all,
Has there been any word as to the dates for the Lanark show this year?

LANARK MEDIEVAL FESTIVAL 2008
1400 years of history
Romans – The Vikings – Medieval
Royal Burgh of Lanark – August 16/17, 2008
Back by popular request, and hopefully without the rain !
The 08 show should be fairly similar to last year’s, and once again on the same racecourse site which has plenty of space to grow the event.
The main difference this year is inclusion of the Romans who are bringing their artillery, and after Kate Tiler being bombarded by Conquest’s s/e last year maybe she’d better re-inforce the tent roof!
Last year’s financial loss due to the weather means we’ve reluctantly had to drop plans for a recreation of Wallace’s castle, and inclusion of horses.
But with us due a good summer, and lots more MOPS through the gate, we’re hoping to look at those plans for next year.
There should also be some on-site changes. Last year was our first on that site so we know that some of the layout needs tweeking.
As Paul said you can register on-line.
Anyone with specific questions please PM or e-mail (lanarkmedievalfestivalAThotmail.com) me.
