Fresh look for the forums? Yes or No - Thoughts

While I love that the forums are so wondefully "functional" and clear, they are looking a little old and dated these days.

I was wondering what you users thought about it all

Is it time to bring the look and feel up to the 21st century?

Is there functionality you would really like to have?

Open to all suggestions and comments

I agree as well, after all this is a forum for people who take part in living history event and this forum is an art of living history itself. If you were going to change it, I would suggest make it like some of the websites featured in Horrible Histories

Forums are of themselves "old and dated" so not fussed what it actually looks like as long as it works

I agree: the present look is nice and clear. I'm never convinced that the looks of a site relates to whether or not people want to use it as long as things are clear.

Well, that all seems fairly conclusive - leave it as it is - we like it enough and it works properly

I'll take it off my list of things to do.

In the meantime, you may not be aware that you can already choose a number of different styles if you wish.

Go to the User Control Panel
Select "Edit Global Settings"
Half way does is "My Board Style" where there are half a dozen to choose from.
