Nice, I think that something similar will have to find it's way back to my house soon.

Not something that seems to come up on the market very often though.

What is the bore on them?

Megan - the small one has been around for almost 10 years now. I think everyone recognises her!
little red carriage.

Larger one left the circuit for a few years but should be reborn by the end of summer.
Took someone all night to think up the name of Mor(e)gun.

both are 1.99 inch

we also have an itsi bitsi handcannon so thinking of calling that milligun or minniegun.

I should hasten to add neither are for sale nor am i trying to buy more (as already have 2 projects on the go at once)

But I did almost sell the big one when I saw how BIG it was, but the person who claimed he was interested here in buying a cannon called me a "fantasist" about owning any!
so Lol at cannontwatler!
One of the guys helping with the project is making his own now from his dad's almost inexhaustable supply of Hydraulic Tubes.

Morgan looks even bigger in those photos than the ones I saw! Does she fit the cabinet??? (I see the door in the background). What are you classing her as, falcon(ette), saker or what?

Still classing Her as a bloody heavy object... having lifted Her in and out of the new bed we're making, as the old one was warped and twisted.

Well the test firing at Tewkes on Friday evening worked well. so She went on the field on Saturday, no problems with Her, unless you count sinking wheels...
Had great fun on Sunday when we changed sides, one cannon and three gunners at a run shouting " Get out of the way" and seeing the looks of terror when the clankies saw us, felt like something out of Terry Pratcett. Now need to fit a blue light and siren to Her......

Sure Peter C-H can oblige with the electrics, he is already thinking of ways to improve the performance of the sheerlegs needed to hoist the barrel into its bed

Technically you have an even smaller minion in Tony S, if the gunning bug has struck again....
I bet Mark Vickers never thought he'd make a bayonet.....

Maybe it was a silly idea trying to make a louder bang with Mrgaret on the other side of the field. She now needs the elevating bit of the trail bolted back on, one of the holding straps which keep her in her bed remaking and the backstop replacing... Have had words with that nice Mr Iron Drwaf about some metalwork at Midfest. Have also put up a note on Buy and Sell to see if anyone has anything for sale at the moment so we can keep ging bang until she is fixed and not because we are jealous of Morgun at all. Honest. Well, a little bit. Couldn't find anyone in Wythe who could pick it up anyway.

After all the moving of cannons and packing up, and the drive home, I'm not sure I could shift Her now....
