What family-friendly AWI groups are there in the Far-West (Cornwall)?

Queen's Rangers and Association of Crown Forces are both based down that way...Green's Rangers who cover F&I as well ,are based round Plymouth.

Dear Steve

I've tried to look at their websites, but they all seem inactive.

Do you have contact details, esp Ass of Crown Forces?

Ok....ACF does seem extinct, even on their facebook page!.....Queens & Greens are both still up and running as I shot at one at Kelmarsh & chat to Greens on f/book...If it's specifically AWI you want,I'd suggest going through the 47th as they're the premier group for the period...they should know who else is still active....Sorry can't be more help.

do they do Cornwall ?
There’s a country in Europe where they treat their ex soldiers with pride no waits for medical treatment after injuries received during service, no amensia from the government. Cant for the life of me recall where it is but I know exactly where it is not.

As far as I'm aware Crown Forces are still going. As has been said the Queens Rangers are down in the south west also.

The 22nd and 47th are mostly based in the North.

If it's a local group (south west) you need try sending ACF or QR an email or something.

Crown Forces are alive and kicking still after thirty years of activities. We have been engaged for two years changing our equipment to the identity of the 5th Regiment of Foot, Grenadiers and Light Company. We also own a Light Three Pounder Cannon. Our Web site is fairly i8nactive until all the mass of new equipment is complete which should be around November 2012 (this year). We are based at the American Museum, Bath and meet regularly for work-ins, we also have an Annual Display at the Museum on the nearest weekend to Independence Day. Naturally, we have other Events in the South of England through the summer months. If you have not as yet found for 'sanctuary', drop me a line
