£15 already pledged to the Refuge for the public listing of the Acrylic Arnolfini with sincere description of manufacture on the Am I Period or Not 2 forum.

Jalea: you have long wanted to see this picture. Send me a £5 cheque made out to the Warwickshire Women's Refuge and your wish shall be granted.

Penny Robinson - you can afford a small amount to humiliate me in public too!

Jorge - cough up: a mutual blonde friend has already done so.

Nigel has said it is worth more and will be sending that, despite the recent disaster. (I let him have a cheeky sneaky peaky in advance to cheer him up).

Kate Tiler - you know the quality of my kit - but not the BREADTH of that quality. Go pouch-mining for a good cause!

Annie the Pedlar - gimme money you feeeelthy Tudor!

Workmonkey - you get pocket money, don't you?

£25 pledged - Thanking Yew.

Tell all your mates, there's a couple prepared to self-humiliate for a charidy - and do bear in mind the added value - "I'm SHHHHIY".

Just a note to say that I agree with 2pence. I call a frock a frock and a coat a coat, whatever period it comes from. Whether that is because I do not know better or because I am not a snob or because I do not want to show myself up amongst you people who know more than me, or maybe I think I know more than all of you and do not want to make you all feel small due to my breadth of knowledge, or maybe because I agree with friendly Nigel, is entirely up to you to interpret.

The most important thing is TO HAVE FUN. That, I am very emphatic about.

Speaking of clothes and having fun - howsabout helping to humiliate me on AIPION2 for a good cause, Frances - and then enjoying the oh-so-kind comments on all my hard work and faine stitchery?

Had I but your cheque, Jorgie -Porgie, you could be allowed a previewette upon which to pass judgement........it's JEEEYUST good enough to pass for an honest attempt in a whole lot of recognisabley unsuitable ways.

Got to memberlist page 9 for PM link to get c/o address, send a small cheque made out to Warwickshire Women's Refuge. Can also accept paypal!

OK curiosity got the better of me and I had to pay for a look upfront.

I am itching to read the replies on the AIPON site for this one, it's just so...
Oh I don't know!

C'mon people, pledge money - it's worth seeing the photo, but it'll be even more fun reading the responses to it!

Thank you Nerf Herder - I shall fondly await your envelope.

Greggie, you blonde - address pm-ed to you.

Jalea - message re paypal sent to you.

Thank you Vicky - "£x for getting to see the picture + another for the anticipation of the comments on the website!" What can one say? (Except perhaps copy Vicky...... )

I shall now go and sting Second-born Spawn's Godpa - she wants him to come to drill to watch. He doesn't want to join, which presents the most excellent " either/ or" blackmailing opportunity.

Sorry - did I say blackmailing? Silly ME. Of course I meant fundraising.

Check yoh in-box BOI!

Now comes the crunch, the determinedly incognito Nerfherder promised a nice lump of money, and will either have to reveal their identity to indicate that they have already paid - or be chased to the ends of this plane of existence.

I think the MWHAHAHAHA goes here, doesn't it?

The Nerf Herder appears to have a UK bank account under an assumed name - should I perhaps inform the authorities? Thank you for the payment, anyway.

Thank you also Mr. Walton. Tuppence and I hatched a cunning plan and saved on a stamp.

£65 collected already and another £15 pledged by non re-enactors, which I will get in the next 2 days and then I will POST!

Please feel free to post your most vitriolic list of 'improvements' here. AIPON2 will delete any entry they feel to be malicious. However I think it is perfectly acceptable to damn with faint praise and gently condescend - and often much funnier. I may even part with a small prize* to they what shows the greatest skill 'pour encourager les autres'

*Probably a hand-stitched authentisnotrag. Unisex! Low on the list of kit to get! Have your hayfever in full view without Johhny Public commenting on monogrammed cotton!

They already know, but can't prove anything.

Keenly anticipating "the reveal"!

Actually the greater irony would surely be to give it excellent ratings and comments.
