5th Century Irish Kingdoms in Britain
Anyone reenactment these or if not anyone fancy reenacting these?

Interesting...hope you get it off the ground...it'd be interesting to see someone putting Scotii or Dessi kit together.
If you're interested, I've got the finds reports from Lagore Crannog which includes some weaponry and domestic kit from the period you're interested in...got some other stuff on 5th/6th C Irish weapons too.

Yes please, any info would be greatly appreciated. As you may know i've recently had a look around the post Roman period and i'm impressed with what i see, on the whole small groups with excellent kit. With the Scotti i think as theres no armour (possibly helmets) it enables the reenactor to concentrate on the finer points of the kit as theres less shiney baubles to turn the eye. I hope i find some like minded individuals.

Although if you went for Irish foederati (thinking of Rance's paper on the subject of the Attacotti Irish federates in the 4th/5thC) or their 2nd or 3rd generation descendants then you'd increase the scope of available shiny things enormously.
Call yourself Cunorix and you can even be in charge of the garrison at Wroxeter.

The Vike have a group that do early period Pictish stuff, problem is they are faaaaarrrr north even in Scotlandcestershire.
