Post by Colin Middleton »

A collegue of mine wants to take his neice to an event. She's into Roman & Greek history and lives in Cheshire. Can anyone suggest something going on this summer she might want to visit?

Don't know about events mate. But there are the roman tour guides based in chester next to the museam. They have a shop thing you can go into to look at the armour etc. And there are tours around roman chester.

Hi Guys,

The Romans you are on about are Roman Tours "Deva Victrix" www.romantoursuk.com
The best thing to come and see will be our outing for National Archaeology Day at the Amphitheatre in Chester in the middle of July.
See www.chester.gov.uk/amphitheatre/nad2006.htm for pics from last year to give you an idea of what we do.

Other events will be posted on our site as we get confirmation.

Regards,

Gary.
