I'd like to join a madrigal group

Does anyone know a madrigal or folk group in London, preferably South London, that I could join. I used to sing a long time ago, and would like to start again, but very gently.

Try these they may be able to help.

Thanks, but from what I can see, these links are mainly for people playing instruments, and all I play is patience on the PC! However, when I have more time, I'll chase down some more of the links, and see if they can help.

Thanks again.

These might be more local.

Or you could search via Choirs on the Net.

Madrigal groups are so small and informal, though, they may well not bother with a website. Choristers being music whores though (I should know, I am one!) they're normally in several groups at once. Try asking someone in a local church choir after service one day.

Thanks so much. I have been invited to join a group run by someone I know, so will see how that goes. If I enjoy it, and can still sing well enough, I'll certainly look into the links you've posted.
