Bass viol

Postby Sir Fletcher Phelps » Wed Feb 21, 2007 2:13 pm

I currently play cello and guitar and am thinking strongly about buying one of Busy Mole's bass viol kits to play baroque continuo parts on - my question is, does anyone here play such and instrument, and what is the degree of difficulty in learning?

Any websites / books that anyone could recommend would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Fletch

And recover from drinking the copious amounts of beer and wine that we did once the mops had gone 8). I need another weekend to get over this one!

None of the ideas expressed above are really mine. I get them from Luthor and Ferdinand, the five inch tall space aliens who live under my desk. In return for these ideas, I have given them permission to eat any dust bunnies they may find under there.
