Even attractive women can read nowadays.

They'll be wanting the vote next.

We've seen the medawful broads last summer....

On cd they're ok, on press pictures they are oke, but in real life they are, how do you say this in proper neat terms.... ehm... ya can't

They are just bad!
Ugly, fat and addicted to ****.
Voices like nightingales... nah more like a seagull!
One was on stage looking like she was 9 months pregnant, but she wasn't pregnant.... and on the other side of the stage was another cow!

Sorry but not for me.

Ungentlemanly conduct there Wim?
I appreciate you do set yourself up somewhat if you describe yourself as a "Babe", but I hope the poor lasses don't read your comments, they may never recover...

I don't call myself a "Babe", because I ain't... anyone can use photoshop for presspictures, but you have to know where to stop!

If I would call pavarotti slim, I would be lying, if he had said it himself, He had a strange mirror.

Same goes for the medawful broads.

If I go to a concert, I at least expect some level of quality.

If that is ungentlemanly, so be it!

But you dont have to be uber thin to be classed as a 'babe'/'baebe' though.

having been to Joust a few times its fair to say that the band should now be called Medieval Matrons and one or two qualify as medival hags. And the music does't sound as good when it doesn't have the filters, tonal enhancers and all the other balls and whistles a studio can add. But that goes for most bands, not just this one. Except the Pogues, who sound better in real life.

I never said someone has to be super thin to be a babe.
I don't even like the anorexic looking models etc.
I do think that your press pictures and the real thing has to be close matching.
and of course someone can gain a bit.
But when you look pregnant and you aren't and as lidy says, your dress isn't quite fitting.
(@lidy: the pregnant one wasn't at our concert, she was in labour)

I think everyone can be a babe in someones opinion!

But I think when you get a picture with a lot of young, goodlooking women, with nice figures and then look at the stage and see 4 cows, one anorexic figure and one with a normal figure and all not so very young (to be polite), then I come to think.... hmmmz is this the same band???

to be fair to the mediaeval baebes they have had a lot of group changes in the last year so yes perhaps the press pictures dont match the girls youve seen live because they may not even be the same people!!!

wim-jaap i think your taking the aesthetic aspect of the group to far and are being insulting.
its not about how they look (and i personally dont think there is anything wrong with them) its about the music they play and the performance they give. ive seen them a few times and always been very impressed.

ok so their not your cup of tea but there is no need to be rude. it doesnt make you look good you know!

well everyone is entitled to their own opinion right?

I thought they were not as good as the cd's I have and listen to regularly.

They didn't even get close, but the cd's are still nice.

Won't buy a ticket for a concert no more though!
