I am selling an 'almost as new', custom made, Roman 2nd century AD replica, 'Subarmalis' leather jerkin, to be worn under the Lorica Segmentata of a Roman Legionary. The decorative shoulder re-enforcements are based loosely on a copy of an actual archeological leather find, found along Hadrian's Wall. The jerkin has been nicely lined in authentic looking linen fabric and the rivets are made of copper or bronze .This jerkin was made for me by the very talented Robin Brown of Rigorevali. It will fit someone 6 feet tall and perhaps up to 18 stone(?), as is fully adjustable via the leather lace ties, being made of four segments of supple high grade leather.

Price £200+pp
