Anyone in Guernsey doing 15th cent?
Also being as ferry docks Weymouth, Portsmouth and Poole any groups in these areas too? We've done WW2 for a few years but looking to do something a tad earlier.

Not in Guernsey, but the SCA has a small bunch of people on Jersey, who IIRC, do 15th century. If you're interested, drop me a pm, and I can put you in touch.

Thanks for the reply Hobbit. Mark Griffin has also told me about a small group on Jersey-wonder if its the same people? Looks like the lady concerned owns a castle there. What by the way is SCA?

Juat in case my other post has not been seen...On Jersey, apart from the excellent Militia doing 18th cent stuff at Lizzie castle there are The Dukes Leopards who cover the late 14th to late 15th if memory serves. I don't have any contact for them but they used to play at Mont Orguiel.

http://www.griffinhistorical.com. A delicious decadent historical trifle. Thick performance jelly topped with lashings of imaginative creamy custard. You may also get a soggy event management sponge finger but it won't cost you hundreds and thousands.

Many thanks Mark. I had a look at Dukes Leopards, I think what we'll probably end up doing is visiting UK for couple events like Tewksbury maybe joining someone like Buckinghams who are a friendly bunch, even though out of area, plus attend events on the continent such as agincourt.

Many thanks for the invite, unfortunately Helen is back on shift work then, after we have had Christmas week off visiting mainland, otherwise we'd have probably gone as I'm sure the grub and drink will be good.
