We are into our second year with a full calender of events all over the country. Building on it’s reputation for high standards and identifying the ever increasing need for the more intimate experience, A Moment in Time continues to attract the cream of the re-enacting world to assemble displays which offer closer interaction for both visitors and participants alike.

Our members make the time to talk and discuss the period of history they portray with our visitors, something that is not always possible to do at large scale re-enactment events. This friendly approach to events is at the very heart of A Moment in Time and leads to a much more enjoyable adventure through history.

If you would like to try something different in historical portrayal, as part of a group covering many periods, ideas, come and have a look at us.
You can be the Lord of the Manor, the peasant, the General, the lowly foot soldier, a Dark Age warrior, the mechanised cavalry of WW2, a craftsman, a labourer ... the list goes on. Our only criteria is that what you portray is faithful and accurate to the impression portrayed and within the Laws of the Land. Perhaps I should also add we strive to ensure all particpants both members, sponsors and the public we encounter all have an enjoyable experiance to remember for an age to come.

Dare I say it we are still here and growing! Covering a broad spectrum of world history, we welcome all with an interest in history. Highlights for 2012 have to be the emergence of a Polish 17th C impression along with an active musical (drums) We welcome new members from all periods and for potential members we offer encouragement and the chance to try out what we do.

Our principle is the three E'S Entertain, Educate and Enjoy if you have an interest in history, we can offer the opportunity for you to grow your impression, we even have opportunities for those who not necessarily want to wear period attire.

We are nationally based with members as far as Scotland in the North and Surrey in South, and the Welsh Borders

Booking availability is filling fast for 2013

I have been along to a couple of MIT events and participated in one as a Knight Hospitaller.
From the get go MIT are a very warm and hospitable bunch and their approach to living history is defiantly defiantly one of the best I have seen. Plenty of presentations with some fabulous kit.
I had an absolute blast of a time with them and aim to go along to and participate in some more events with them next season !! :D :D
