May be a long shot but...

Post by Grania »

I've been debating this for a while and finally decided to ask - does anyone know of any groups for late 18th century (say 1780s/1790s) not (or limited) military? Not bothered about location, but I would just like to know if you are out there!

Thanks

Hi Grania
We are developing an eighteenth century aspect to our historical food/cookery demonstrations, dont know if that might be of interest . . . ?
I know "eighteenth century" covers a wide period - we are specifically working on 1710 - 1720 for set bookings next year and we will also be extending to the end of the century too in due course.
best wishes

We're doing 1775 and hope to expand the non-military side........

Thanks for the responses!

Ideally I'm looking for later 18th century - 1780s-90s, (currently I'm a child of the 1740s) but 1775 doesn't sound bad :) Can you tell me any more? :$

Bonnacon I don't think I'm much help to you with the food side of things, but I know a few people who might be. Grymm, where are you? :D
