SVA is a Spanish reenacting non-profit society covering social aspects of the nineteenth century.

We have been studying and reenacting the social and cultural manifestations of the different periods encompassed in the nineteenth century for four years now. We have so far organized picnics, duels, balls, soirées, recitals and even some workshops. We are amateurs with a strong commitment to learning and achieving as much historical accuracy as our resources and means allow. We are very proud to be one of the main online sources of information about the victorian era in Spanish, and we also have subgroups of reenactors in Mexico and Argentina.

Personally, I am part of the organization of the SVA and I am very grateful for having found this excellent forum. Please note that the Spanish word "victoriana" means simply "victorian" and does not allude in any way to neo-victorianism.

Thank you.
