Cookery Group

New group on the block.

After twenty years of general Medieval re-enactment Julia and I have decided it's time to specialise a bit. So, along with Jenny, another experienced re-enactor, we have set up a not-for-profit Community Interest Company entitled "Four and Twenty Blackbirds".

Sorry, Dan, it ain't a porn site :D

It's a group based around the processing, preparation, cooking and serving of food, currently mainly Medieval but with plans to expand into Tudor, Elizabethan, Georgian and Victorian.

Full details are on the website so do please take a look - www.4and20blackbirds.co.uk. We are based in S. Lincolnshire but currrently have bookings in Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire

As ever, constructive criticism of what you find is always most welcome, as are enquiries from anyone who might want to come and play.

Most useful grant just obtained from Lincolnshire CC Community Development Fund, now the big application is in with the Heritage Lottery Fund.
We've been working on it since mid-October, all we have to do now is chew our fingers for ten weeks . . . . . . .
