Sounds like something I'd like to hear more about. As with many posters here, I sometimes lament the lack of archers on the battlefield sometimes.

Hi All

Sorry I've not been very active on here lately but I have been getting things in place.

The only update I can give at the moment is that The Archers will be taking membership application as from end of February at ILHF and any new member will be insured from the date they receive their membership card and they will enjoy the benefit of not having to renew their membership until April 1st 2012.

More to follow

James

The Archers is up and running with membership rolling in. More details can be found on the web site http://www.thearchers.webs.com contact details can be found on the web site.

We have four shows at the moment but that is looking to rise to atleast seven. On top of that there is atleast two shoots that we have been invited too.

Details for these arn't on the web site yet but will be very soon.

The same weekend as the festival of history at Kelmarsh is an event at Macclesfield where the organisor is looking for as many archers as possible to celebrate their 750th anniversary. More details to follow on that one as I won't be able to attend. It might be one for those who are not at Kelmarsh.

To all events organisors - I am compiling an Organisors hand book for what we offer and how we work. All I will be asking in return is your and or your archery field captains set of rules so I can publish these to my members for each event.

'till soon

James

Hi all,

The events calender is filling up !! Do have a look www.thearchers.webs.com

This post is a quick note to event organisers - In the Documents link on the home page of http://www.thearchers.webs.com there is a file called Event Organisers Using The Archers. It is a .pdf file that should hopefully give you enough information about how The Archers will work for you.

Cheers

James
