well answering for paddy, i'm one of the few girls in the group and i have a dress for our kinda bat soc banquets, but thats pretty useless for the next one as the dress is late 13C to early 14C and the next banquet I'm told is going to be Anglo Saxon (i wasn't paying much attention so that might change.) Mind you since its a uni and friends thing we tend to be VERY liberal with what is er "period". I don't do any fighting I'm just there for moral support (of Paddy) and the other girls tend to play boys and fight, or just do the Arwen thing.

No I get that but it might be worth drawing up some general guidelines so girls could come along to event that the boys might want to go to outside of uni might be an idea?
