1916 Irish volunteers uniform

Post by Josef Von Glocken »

With respect to all here, plus any who read or advise me on my query, regarding the above Uniform, any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Im hoping to return to WW2 re-enacting and this once off centenary anniversary of the 1916 Easter Irish republican rising.
Iv tried unsucessfully to find a reasonable price for this Irish Volunteers Uniform.
I can provide a photo of such and appreciate that individual tailoring is expensive.
Im hoping to find a Person or company who offer reasonable pricing.
God Bless
Joe

Evening m8..

If you head over to http://www.livinghistory.ie/ and repost your question, you will probably have a bit more luck with a reply... :)

I know for a fact that there are a few guys on there that re-enact Volunteer/Auxie, Rising/War of Independence, so they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Best of luck..
