Braided Linen Cord

Postby Aginoth » Thu Apr 06, 2006 2:59 pm

Can anyone point me in the way of:

a) someone who can supply Braided linen cord (3-6 mm)

b) any resources on how to make it yourself using methods suitable for C14 Living History (me being a complete novice at it)

Thanks in advance

Well my Missus could make some up for you easily enough. Or you could make it yourself.

'Finger braiding' is one of those skills a bit like kniting. Looks like an arcane art to the outsider but once you get the hang of it. . .
