12th century clothing patterns

Post by sparky »

Does any one know of any where i can get some 12th Century clothing patterns for a male, female and child. We have just joined The Feudals and are looking at having a go at making our clothing.

Try http://www.sarahthursfield.com. I think that she does some early patterns for adults and definitely does some for children. You could also try her book, the Medieval Tailor's Assistant.

Best wishes

Best people to ask would be your group members as they will be in the position to advise on group requirements. :D
