Hi,
I'm after the edge trimmers/cutters or whatever they are called to make the piccadils that edge the leather lining of a gorget.
Does anybody know what they are called and where I can get one from? As I don't know what they are properly called I'm all googled out now and not seen one anywhere...... :crazy
Thanks!

When I cut my piccadill I made a metal template then used that to trace the final cut line.
You might find some form of scallop irons but you will probably have to create the final shape as a composite from a number of irons.

Try a search for Green Man Forge in the states.
Dawn got some very nice pinking cutters off him a few years back, at a reasonable price.
Should be what your after. Half moon shaped with individual lobes around the circumfernce. Think there about £25 a throw or there abouts.
