Nacre buttons

Post by Theotherone »

Are they easily available these days? just noticed one is missing from a garment I use as a nightie. (I don't know exactly what the thing was made as -it's some sort of man's smock thing but it's heavy, warm, has a bit of age and feels right to sleep in and I'd rather not use plastic on it)
Because there would have to be three of them.

Do you mean Mother of pearl? I have a very large number. If you let me know the size and hole number, I could probably match, near enough. (Could psot, if there is a post any more.)

mother of pearl buttons - dead easy to get and cost pennies.

any decent haberdashery should have 'em.

Thanks both, I didn't think of searching for Mother of Pearl :$

I'm hoping to get down to my mum's in half term and she thinks she may have some in one of her tins, at least I know where to go if she hasn't. Thanks again.
