Silk Route,

But silk noil is a slubbed / raw(ish) plain woven silk.

Diaper silk has a diamond(ish) pattern (aka diaper pattern) woven into it.

At least assuming you're using the historical term.

Off hand no idea where to get it - used to, but not needed to keep track for a while - suspect a trawl of assorted suppliers and web searches will be the only way to find it.

Unless you have it woven to order.

Ah! right. I see what you mean, found a reference to Diaper it in Tudor brickwork after sifting through a multitude of bloomin 'nappies'. I've seen that pattern in silk but can't remember where from. I'll check out my suppliers see if they come up with anything.
