Necropolis: London & its Dead

Post by Marcus Woodhouse »

Catherine Arnold, author. ISBN 978-184983-554-1 Pocket Books 2006.
A major disappointment. Dull, poorly researched and repetitive. The only thing that makes this stand out is that it is so tedious that it could be the most boring book I have ever read, which ironically makes it special.

I bought it while ago, looked forward to it. Have to agree, tedious. Very disappointed.

I bought this off the cheap book stall that comes round our office every so often. A guide book to dip into really but I thought it was good. ... cemeteries
