In view of some recient threads in the General History dept.
I'd reccomend Flodden 1513, by Niall Barr, Tempus publishing, ISBN 0-7524-1792-4
The best book I've come across on the Campaign, I used it on a field trip which Stirling castle staff made to Flodden in September 2006.
Very well written, it debunks the Walter Scott"James was a romantic fool" myth very thoroughly.
By the way, the battlefield has a very good trail, with excellent interpretation boards.
Anything with a vague historical bent
