Noisy neighbours? I've got the answer:
I've just completed the woodwork for my Noisemaker's Fife (quartersawn English oak, of course!).
It's waiting on a hinged iron collar and some fancy wingnuts for the finger clamps.
Once I've got it put together, I'll post some pics.

Just to round off this topic, here's some pics of the completed Fife. Photos of it 'in action' can be found on the Pictures forum.

I have a job for you...
I want a Pilory device for my garden. Also, could you make a Pear of Anguish, please.
Nice work. Have you use it yet?

In which orifice will Sir be inserting said Pear?
As for the Fife, I took one up to Bede's World in the summer for the BOTWOT guys to play with (also managed to 'restrain' mad piper and re-enactor Paul Martin who was there doing his usual horsefoolery demonstration).
I am trying to get my local Community Association to let me build a set of stocks at the entrange to the village (better than an ASBO). Without much success.
