Tewkesbury Medieval Festival is Holding Armour At the Abbey again, in Tewkesbury on May 3rd & 4th 2015.
Now in its third year, the event takes place in and around Tewkesbury Abbey, we have secured the Abbey Hall for a selected group of trade stalls to complement the event on Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th May 2014 (Monday 4th is the anniversary of the battle)
The event gives the public a glimpse of Medieval and Monastic life, with displays, demonstrations, hand to hand combat, music, archery demonstrations, guided tours of the Abbey behind the scenes and displays of illuminated manuscripts.
The event was launched two years ago and has proved very successful, with over 600 people visiting each year, we hope to substantially increase those numbers this year, we are extending the event further and including new attractions.
The Abbey Hall is situated at the front of the Abbey grounds, with access from the street as well as the grounds and is next to the café, so good footfall is expected. We aim for a select group of stalls catering to the general public, for a very reasonable pitch fee of £30 per 6ft table for the two days (Go-Pak tables provided). There's a small kitchen attached to the hall for stallholders tea & coffee.
Trading hours are 1pm-4pm Sunday, 10.30-5pm Monday. parking available outside the hall for unloading only, some authentic camping space available.
Please reply by 1st February to secure a trading space.
Please note that I'm only booking stalls for this, all Medieval Festival stalls go through Diane as usual.
