Hot Meal Delivery ?

Post by Martin »

As we are going to be selling an array of dried wholesome meals how would you like to have a menu dropped off at your stall on Friday then meals delivered at dinner time / tea time over the weekend ? we will only be doing em to order so as not to get embroiled in the hassles of running a food stall, when we're trading we dont often get chance to go off for food and we thought that it may be the same for other traders, suggestions ? :)

Sounds like the ideal solution for a lot of events! Especially for those of us trading on our own.
When are you planning to start offering this to us?

Yes -I firmly believe in the healing power of herbal remedies.
So much so that I insist on taking at least three or more pints of the Sacred Malted Medicine each and every night.

Hi,

I can see this becoming a bit of an issue if you plan to do it at events where there are caterers who either have sole rights (as at WEC) or who have paid substantially more for a catering pitch than historic traders are generally asked to pay.

From their point of view, you would be taking business from them and under-cutting them because you don't have the same overheads.

Best wishes

Then you are not actually delivering "Hot Meals", and I agree it would not be an issue any more than dropping off supplies from Tesco - but your initial posting might have been a bit clearer

Look forward to seeing the menu!

Best wishes
