Ecclestastical courts are surprisingly full of, if not out right porn, certainly graphic in detail cases of sexual going ons. People accused of having it away with relations, animals, corpses, sometines all at the same time. By the way if you happen to be a necrophliac sado maschist with a tendency to commit beastiality-give it up, you're flogging a dead horse.

By and large records from most ecclesiastical courts don't give much in the way details. You have to find cases where the depositions were kept or a major trial such as that of Giles de Rais.

I dunno- "Alan the Potter being caught molesting a horse" (Surrey) gives you some detail of what he was doing, if you know the pro rata performa for penance you can also start to work out finer points (should you want to).

But that isn't pornography because it isn't written in any way for the purpose of causing sexual stimulation or to be lurid in any way. It can be used for insight into the periods sexual practices but even that is problematic because most penances I've seen from cases don't appear to be standardized nor have I heard of any official lists of pennances atleast in the later Middle Ages.

Hm, good point. The observed pennances do change from location to location, they don't seem to be bothered much in certain areas. Perhaps not used as much for gratifiaction as gossip, given that the accusations were made in public forums.

Yea gossip is probably the best category for it. There actually has been some neat work done on gossip in the later middle ages as there seems to be a rise in slander cases from gossip near the end of the 15th century or some such.
