St Margaret's Summer Fayre 2017

Postby Rocketman » Mon Jan 09, 2017 9:59 am

Hello, Our Fayre over the last few years has had a number of re-enactors that have provided great entertainment for our visitors, could we ask if any groups would like to try to put themselves into the forefront of the Main Ring at our Fayre. We hold a fund-raising Summer Fayre, which this year is on the 9th July. We raise funds to help with the maintenance of our 14th century village church, St Margaret's. We do not have a big budget for entertainment at the Fayre but we try to have a main entertainment feature in the main ring. Other attractions include, a classic vehicle rally, that brings in a lot of people, a funfair, Country Craft Village, barbecue, bar, teashop and many stalls. We don't charge for school age children and younger and we try to provide a feature that entertains the children and keeps the parents happy, included in this is a dog show, children's sports, adults tug-o-war, etc. Could please indicate whether you could be available and willing and a range of options to give an idea of possible costings. Our Fayre is at Highfield Farm, Uttoxeter Road, Draycott-in-the-Moors, ST11 9AE, we are on the east side of Stoke-on-Trent. We have a history of Romnan occupation as the main road (Uttoxeter Road) was the Rynekeld Street and in the centre of the village there was a transit fort.
