eye candy

Post by tailordrews »

Hi,
I was very happy today. I received some lovely pictures from one of my clients. Its very seldom my clients remember to send me pictures of them wearing my creations. This young lady did!
These phtotos was taken recently, but soon i will have some more, and better ones because the young lady is going to a ball on july 1st.
It took 2 years from i got the order, and till it was finished, not that i worked all time of cause, but had other projekts in between. But it took me many many hours to make this dress.
Also considered it was made without any fittings ( I live in Denmark, my client in USA) it was made ok. Thank god to stays, they are so good to drape from.
Anyway here are the lovely pictures, enjoy!

Bjarne,

That is absolutely top-class and an excellent photospread as it really shows the different sections of the costume.

Impressive work. Do you do this in your spare time or full time?

(And remind me why do I do medieval?)

:)

Hi.
This left side of the waistcoat took me 2 weeks to work. Usually about 3-4 hours a day because i have a full time job besides this, to earn my butter.

Bjarne,

That is absolutely exquisite work, very beautiful indeed. Eye candy is a very appropriate name for it!

Wonderful! beilliant!!

I am really envious of the time you have available for this - i belive you said that it took over a year for the previous dress.

You really have an outstanding talent.

Wow Bjarne, that's absolutely stunning, a dress to die for! It really makes me feel like I'm re-enacting the wrong period!

Please do continue to post up any more work you do.
