stained glass.

Postby Mrs. Babyjuice » Wed Jun 14, 2006 11:06 pm

Bounced, just to say orders still being taken for christmas, up until the 25 November. After this date, orders will roll on into next year. For any enquiries please PM me here, or email me at ghstainedglassATaolDOTcom

Here, you will see some examples of my work, using the copperfoil method of construction. I make anything I am commissioned to do, and for trade to the historical world , I endevour to accurately source all visual material for my designs, as appropriate.

All constructive comments most welcome - and orders of any design/size or whatever can be made for Tewksbury delivery, subject to availability of raw stock.

This piece is based on celtic zoomorphic figures and is housed in the customers garden feature...a full sized viking roundhouse. (And is guarded fiercely by a psychotic chicken.)

This design is taken from an Anglo-Norman stone carving from a church in Herefordshire. (Source: British Museum). Clear cathederal glass, blemishes are from the outside and unclean window!

Our G&H moniker, designs sourced from Linesfarne and Kells amongst others.

Unfortunately it has been through the wars...first it got knocked off the shelf by my cats, then got mashed in our house move from hell, so try not to look too much at the appalling state it's in!

Thanks, BraveAnimal, glad you like it. Had to drastically downsize my worksop when we moved...it is now about the size of a postage stamp!
