Blore Heath
Who's up for Blore this year? Here, some of Ferrers Household (supported by one of Wm Stanley's boys), face up to the Thos Stanleys at last year's do.

OMG! ELLO JIM!
remember me?
I used to be in the Warwicks with Mike, Lynda, janine, catherine, paul, mick etc!
Good to see you are keepin well and still enjoying the 15th century.
Janine and I are doing 12th century now and having a blast!
I know Alan Harley!
used to be in the Levy many years ago and spent many a singalonga camp with the Staffords!
Mind you the singalong was in the old days with Mark Hinsley and the ever present song book!
those were the days!

How could I forget??? The Ragged Staff was my introduction to re-enactment and I'm still here ten years later so it can't have scarred me that much...
Great to hear from you again. C15 re-enactment still takes up every summer and most of the autumn and winter in preparation. Perhaps see you at one of the markets in October...?

Mark is still on the scene, (though he parted with the Staffords 10 + yrs ago during their schism) and runs the Coventry Company a WOR Archery, re-enactment group. The songbook(s) still get the occassional outing from their reliquary.

A good sword, a trusty hand, a merry heart and true.
the song book is still very much alive (the 2006 edition is currently in the works), and who can forget the immortal ode to mark "recruiting"
sorry to all those who have no idea what we're on about but there are many memories all be it blurred memories of drunken out of tune sessions around the fire that always bring a smile to my face

been to Blore for the first time, thanks for the great welcome from all who where there
great to meet many of you for the first time, learned more about Bill from Allen Harley in half an hour than i did in three years of re-enacting.
Great to see you again Nev, hope your head and Face feel better real soon.
