Amazing set of pictures, those first ones. Particularly loved the dinner guests and the shooting party photos, and some of the individual portrait shots were stunning!

Two great photographers really makes the difference. Some unorthodox poses for the shooting party :)

Wow - these pictures are amazing! After our last party, we decided to get some leaflets printed afterwards, so that everyone got a set of pictures of this event as some kind of memory - Ours weren't even half as nice, anyway. But there were a reason to laugh and plan the next party - maybe even with a professional photographer, I guess Devious Wolf photography could be a name to remember. Do you know if they also take pictures with antique cameras?

What fantastic clothes and photos! Is that one Bonnacon, butlering?
I really love the ones taken in the church. Is this an established group, or a group of friends with really good kit?

Hi Cat, it certainly was me butlering in the background. 4and20blackbirds did the cooking and tablework all weekend, absolutely exhausting and the most brilliantly enjoyable fun !

Sorry for the late reply- been away holed up in a buca away from the internet. In answer to the questions above,

I don't know if Devious Wolf also use period cameras, sorry. They are doing a lot of re-enactment photography at the moment. :)

The event was a private party to unwind after some brilliant but exhausting events. So just a group of friends, not an organisation. Drawn from all over- Australia, Italy, France, Germany and Switzerland. No public, so really easy to relax.

Bonnacon, wait til you hear which Palazzo we are talking to for next time.... :)

For those who liked the church, there are some more shots of it towards the end of this video.

Bonn, chuck the words, Medici, Stibbert, Bobolo up in the air and see where they land.

Very atmospheric. I know the chap holding the musket in pic 579207 in the first set is in the 95th, would love to get hold of him for a project I'm hoping to do.

Yours,

Griff
