What I mean is - Retouching photos manually with gouache paint through a DeVilviss airbrush. When it worked properly you could spray a 1mm line with it!!!!!! Not Photoshop.

I will say what is more authentic than anything else in these photos and is hard to beat, is your blood stock. Complete Saxon. Your type can be seen walking the streets from Berlin to Leipzig. hair colour the lot.

Saxon? I've always believed that the typical characteristics of a Saxon is blonde hair and blue eyes. I've been told I have the look of a Viking or Celt. (Sorry for the C word lol) Would love to have a dna test to find out for sure.

I would think the Anglo bit of Anglo Saxon is blonde, as in The Angles. They still are. But without a doubt, the Saxons in Sachsen are just like you.

Saxony (Sachsen) in east Germany has no relation, geographically or genetically, with the Saxons of 'Anglo-Saxon' fame, who came from 'Old Saxony' in North Western Germany. You get a lot of 'slavic' reheads in modern Saxony...blond skintypes, no freckles etc as opposed to the typical Scots/Irish freckly redheads.

Anything wrong with 'Freckly Redheads' ? Not seen many Scottish Redheads myself, apart from Russ Abbots one, but then I dont get out that much.

Depends on how you feel about people with recessive mutant genes really.
Most of those I know seem nice enough.

Yep, that's why they died out - nobody wanted to go out with them.

(Yes, I'm ginger. And possibly a little bitter)
