Britannia at Birdoswald

Post by Dan of Britannia »

Excellent venue!

Weather overcast on Sunday... 2 showers, neither co-incided with our shows.

Yesterday (Monday) bright Sunshine all day.

Cracking shows, perfectly timed and Sunday's moody looking sky made excellent images... Wayland's Mags took some classic pics(we posed in amongst Birdoswald's great backdrops again), here's one of us at the Eastern Gate of the fort.

Well done all involved!!!! :D :D :D

Nice one Mags! :D

I popped in on Monday afternoon - great show! Sorry I didn't get a chance to say hello as the presentation timetables were so tight that you were performing both times I was in range.

Cheers mate, shame not to have had a catch up.

It's a lovely site, great part of the country, I think I p***ed of the custodian with my Auf Wiedersehen Pet impressions though!

That first pic is excellent! All you needed was a flash of lightning to finish it off!! Looks like you had a damn good time!

Trust me, having stood on that very spot in armour holding a metal spear when there WAS lightening - it's the LAST thing you need!

LOL!! Been there!! Was at Tutbury many moons ago when a storm suddenly appeared and ulitmately struck the centre of the arena where we had just legged it away from. Youve never seen plate come off so quick!! :o
