Medieval camp thingie

Post by George P. »

First 'event' of the group I helped found. Most of the stuff is made from scratch by the members, with a few things bought. Quite a few details are wrong, but for the first time I think its great. Only half the group managed to come though.

Stunning countryside!! Forgive my ignorance, where were these piccies taken? It's gorgeous... just imagine what the castle must have appeared like in its day! :D

Koznik (koza means goat, it got called that because of the goats that had to carry the stone up, it was too steep for other animals, also I think this place was famous for its arrows), central/southern Serbia. It used to be enormous. (the pics taken furthest away would probably be well within the city walls. The remains are only of the citadel.

Serbia is full of lovely places like this. We're planning quite a few more outings this summer, with larger numbers :) Anyone who can be bothered to come is more then welcome :)

For a first season's outing this looks excellent. Like narvek says, you clearly know your direction - have fun getting there! Very best wishes for the future.
