Men's Bathing Suit

Postby 7thLeicesters » Wed Feb 09, 2011 12:18 am

Looking for a decent reproduction of the typical Victorian/Edwardian men's bathing suit - ideally the blue/white striped shorts and shirt type

Cheers, Rob

I know where there is an original that would fit you rob, but it's plain black (as most were) about £25.

Oh dear, the mind boggles. If you know a good knitter I have some great patterns!

Hello.

I've only been able to find a couple of ready-made models that are not for hire:
http://www.daydreamersfancydress.co.uk/ ... TUMES.html
http://www.cornucopiacostume.com/index. ... ucts_id=82

Not period but easily modifiable, I guess.

Regards.
