Work by Leila B. Ryan

Postby John Waller » Mon Feb 22, 2010 3:26 pm

In doing research on shako plates for my group we have turned up an unattributed line drawing of a belgic plate from an old regimental association newsletter which I believe to be by someone called Leila B. Ryan, due to the similarity of the drawing to those of 90th regt plates shown on this website ... th_HCB.htm. I now know that the lady in question is deceased (I don't know when) but would like to find out if she published any works on the subject of military badges etc. I am told that if she did publish anything it will be long out of print. Internet searches have so far not turned up anything.

Anyone heard of her or know of her work?
