Does anyone know of any online resources with either readable images or transcripts of period news-sheets and papers. I'm looking particularly for the adverts and notices rather than siginificant articles, but it's all of interest.

Apologies for the double post, I'm putting this in 1715-1810 as well.

Drop me an email. I don't have much but do have some scans of the London Gazette from 1702 you can have. I've printed them out at events before. Trouble is, none of the troops can read and I end up explaining everything to them...
Griff A delicious decadent historical trifle. Thick performance jelly topped with lashings of imaginative creamy custard. You may also get a soggy event management sponge finger but it won't cost you hundreds and thousands.
