The YOrk City Levy are 15th Century and as the name states they are based in the north. If you go on the Liverary and Maintenaince website (forgive spelling) they might have some contact details, If im rite in thinking the Levy also have their own website.

We are one of the better (the best IMHO but I would say that) WOTR living history groups around and have 80-odd members although I have only met about half since I joined later in the season:)

We made up nearly all of the Yorkist archers at Blore Heath and just shy of a bill block. Comfortably the largest contingent there. Haven't been told when we are in action next season yet but look out for the three owls on the flag (is that a song?!) or the falcon and fetterlock livery as per my avatar.

Rosa Mundi are northern, borders etc. Someone on here may have their details. Very good living history group.

Another northern group, but the name escapes me because it's new is run by Andy Thorpe, I thinks he uses this site though he may jump into this thread.

Most of the groups mentioned are north east, I think so you may think about Buckingham's Retinue, I think their more west. Try Chris.howell@ch.novartis.com. They have a good mix of living history and combat.

Hope it helps.
This life must be a test, if it were the real thing we'd have been given better instructions.

Even thought they're not my household - the Buck's Retinue site has a lot of useful information for the newbie
