As far as I know, it's not a re-enactment so much as a small group of people who put on a one off performance of half an hour or so, in the Tolbooth. The Tolbooth is a very confined space, not a lot of room for either performers or MOP's. I think most of the people taking part are members of a drama group, they do various periods and events, but have never seemed very interested in getting re-enactors in to help, we have asked.

yeah i found out the same, its a small drama group its not had very much cover up here had to really dig around,

But here is a Q for scottish lady what type of re-enactment do you do? Am a part of medieval realm based in Aberdeen, www.medieval-realm.co.uk

Think we probably met at Harlaw, I was accompanying the cannon. 17thC with Fraser's Dragoones, Jacobite with Lace Wars, and Thirty Years War mercenary with Hortus Bellicus. The Meenister and I are both just S. of Aberdeen.
