Attatchment Chains

Postby Errent Knight » Wed Feb 12, 2014 7:39 pm

Has anyone out there added attachment chains to their kits and tried to fight in them? If so how did you get on with them and what type of chain/attachments did you use?

The ones I'm talking about are found on Mid 14th C effigies like the ones below and they attach the weapons and great helm to the torso, presumably to a C.o.P. under the surcoat.

As far as I'm aware (braces for the hammer of provinence) chains were only worn during tourney? But if I'm wrong correct me all the same
