Cbeebies goes all Middle Ages

Postby Henri De Ceredigion » Tue Oct 22, 2013 2:10 pm

The new series of "Gigglebiz" presented by Justin Fletcher (who hosts Justin's House, Something Special and Tiny Tumble) started yesterday on Cbeebies with a new character based on Will Scarlet called "Will Singalot". The BBC press release for the programme says:

Meanwhile, the infuriating and constantly singing minstrel Will Singalot causes problems for Robin Hood’s plans to woo Maid Marion by singing all about Robin’s stinky feet

Today's programme (which is broadcast at 5.15pm) has the following:

On Tuesday, naughty King Flannel has trouble with Lady Chatalot’s constant chatting on the phone and intrepid but accident-prone location reporter Gail Force gets into all sorts of trouble at an archaeological dig.

Could members give the once over on these characters and tell me "Are their costumes Middle Ages?".

Hard to say; 40 is the new 21.

How old do you have to be to be middle aged?

Why? Justin is a clown/Childrens entertainer. Would we expect his costumes to be anything other than a fancy-dress style comedy character.

Btw, I think he's great!
