Maille tailors

Postby MCA » Tue Aug 13, 2013 5:43 pm

Does anyone know of a maille tailor in Europe that isn't Mark Hale from Cap a Pie ( over 2 year waiting list) or Gavin Jones who has retired from the business?

Thanks in advance

Yeah sorry about that, it's somewhat in demand :D

Although I have not seen any of his work so can't really say much. You could try the Crusades group. There is someone who has been doing tailoring for the group by the name of Potter. I have had quite a long chat with him about various things maille a year or so ago and he seemed to know his stuff.

I can also ask someone I know who is a conservation expert in maille but he probably has a longer waiting list than mine.

If you can let me know what you want as not sure who you are, although if you have just been emailing me today then I do :D

Cheers

Mark
