A new translation of Lignitzer's sword and buckler

Postby KeithFarrell » Sun Apr 29, 2012 1:56 pm

I have just finished a translation of the sword and buckler treatise of Andre Lignitzer, drawing from Dierk Hagedorn's transcription of the copy of the treatise in the Codex 44.A.8 (aka the Codex Danzig). The document shows the original transcription, my English translation, and also for the fun of it and for the practice, a translation into Swedish.

The document is available at the website of the Academy of Historical Arts:
Lignitzer Sword and Buckler

If anyone notices any spelling or grammar mistakes, or any errors with translation, please do get in touch with me and let me know ;)
