The kit that i've got at the moment is my hose, a shirt, some of Tod's medieval ankle boots, kettle helmet, some gauntlets with lower arm protection, spaulders, my hand and a half and a jack and brig that are hopefully going to be finished soon.

You can get modern shinguards to wear under your kit that also have a kneecop. I have a pair of these I am playing with for training, although I haven't got round to making the soft kit to disguise them properly for battlefield use. Cost about £14!
