'Surrey and the 100 years war'
Thursday 26 March 2009
By Prof Nigel Saul

What was Surrey's contribution to the most romantic and celebrated of medieval wars? Did any Surrey men achieve fame and fortune in arms? The lecture will explore the evidence for the involvement of local knights in campaigning from Crecy to Agincourt.

All lectures take place in the Guildhall on Guildford High Street and start at 7.30pm. The ticket price for each lecture is £6.00 for adults with reduced prices for multiple advance bookings. This includes a glass of wine after the lecture. Seats in the Guildhall are limited and advance booking is recommended. To reserve your place please contact Guildford Museum.
