Sounds intruiging. I'm reading Professor Contamine's War in the Middle Ages at the moment.

Its an excellent book, especially in the way it looks at the social and psuedo-religious aspect of warfare in the middle ages. the chapters that deal with taxation, recruitment and payment along with provisioning is also eye opening.
